alternative to fscommand and .bat files

hello
is there an alternative to using fscommand with a .bat file? i'm developing a flash cd, one of the main uses of the flash app will be to launch the files stored in the cd, like images, pdf's, word documents and whatever my client could imagine :o but he doesn't like the black command window that pop ups when using fscommand, and i don't want to deal with a lot of .bat files and subdirectories stored inside the fscommand dir.

I believe that you can achieve that by using third party projector tools such as Zinc, SWF Studio or mProjector... Go check them out...
