hi all,
i´ve just included new as2-bitmap efx to my site.
now i´m very intrested in testing the performance...
please take a minute, and have a look at.

i´m looking forward for your feedback.
many thx

Its a very pretty site, but sloooow on my 1.8 Intel P4, 1 Gig of RAM...

everything runs great on my powerbook g4- the font isn't necessarily too small, just a strain...

Font is tiny yes, res = 1440x900

your site runs my CPU at 93% consistantly of a 2.6 Ghz processor (780 RAM). It runs very slow.

Strange, mine is only 2Ghz but it runs fast

Runs a little slow on my laptop here at work, hardly painful though.
Love the design - don't really see why a design like this needs to take a performance hit.

there's more to cpu performance than the clock speed alone. your powerpc processor is more powerful than a pentium, so it can perform better even with a lower clock speed. it's almost the same thing with the intel vs. amd debate. amd always has a lower clock speed, but still outperforms intel when it comes to multimedia, 3d, etc.

nice site, think font are small.
the animations run slow (3.2GH 1G Ram)...when i go back to the main page, the calendar is there, waiting for its green blog square to load, i gues you calendar wants to be allways on schedule...you german?:D
like i said, nice site :)
(780 RAM).?

? 256 + 512 = 768 || 256 + 512 ~ 780 == bad math.

Good old invader making me look stupid about hardware again ;)

On my Pentium D Processor 820, 2.8 GH, and 1G Ram, it works just fine.
I like the design. I also like the code snippets.

The speed is just fine for me. I like the look. Very nice.
The problem with your text is the choice of typeface, not necessarily the size. You could keep type that small and it would be perfectly fine if it was a different font. Pick something that isn't all-caps. Using all-caps for body-text is a typography no-no...sending you straight to typographer's hell :). The brain has a hard time reading the entire word because every letter occupies the same volume of space...especially with the font you chose.
Choose a good font that is intended for readability at small sizes, and use regular caps/lowercase. Then you'll be good.
