Hey Gang!
Inspired by Xeef HERE (http://actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=92153), I have written my own script for checking user's info. I will post the final code there when completed.
Here is what I need from you:
simply copy and paste the first line of the page here, and tell me your Operating System, OS version, and browser.
Example:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Windows | XP | Firefox.
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
Windows
XP
Internet Explorer

Your browser is Internet Explorer
But in fact it is not. My browser is "Sleipnir." It *is* built off of IE, though. I suppose the detection is understandable given that.

Hey Thanks for that!
Some browser mask who they are. Opera is one of them so I guess Sleipnir is another.
Thanks for the tip!

Your browser is Internet Explorer
same thing, using Avant Browser which expands IE. But, from AB's f.a.q...
Does Avant Browser modify settings of Internet Explorer?
The end-user is able to use Avant Browser to modify the home page and bookmarks of Internet Explorer. But Avant Browser doesn't modify other settings of Internet Explorer, though there are internet settings that may be modified such as the browser identification string.

Anyone knows what the USER_AGENT looks like for "Sleipnir". I can't find it.
Thanks goliatone, I added it.
