Hi,
I posted the same question in action script but now i wil make it simpler.
A button with get url command won't work because the users secutiry setting won't allow it. They can be changed form macromedia site...
That is stupid. How am I suposed to build my site?
Can u help me?

Which user are you referring to? By default both IE and Firefox will permit Flash to redirect the parent HTML page using getURL().

How is this Flash site being deployed, Internet or Intra/extranet? If desktop settings for all your end-users are such that you cannot use getURL, you either need to rethink whether you need to redirect, or whether you should be using Flash at all.

It was intended to be a normal site with a normal link like "for more info visit www.macromedia.com" . I tried evend that link :)
It didn't work.
Now it does. I changed the settings on macromedia.com. But how does that interfere with other users (people visiting my site). I do not see the logic.

what??? You have got to be a little confused. There are not security setting with getURL() (at least not locally).
