Hi, I've got a movie with a dynamic text box that's really acting up, I've attached a screen shot. I'm working in Flash MX. I've got other text boxes that appear to be identical, but work fine. This box in the screen shot is positioned perfectly, just to the left of the scroll bar component you can see. However, no matter what I do, the text jumps out of the box and loses it's wrapping.

The box is set to multiline (with wrapping), HTML, selectable and 7pt line spacing, and all characters are embedded. Do I have too much text in the box?

Any help would be appreciated. The client wanted this WEDNESDAY. >Groan<
Thank you!

I've got more info - Embedding all the characters in the fonts is causing the problem. However, when I DON"T embed the fonts, I get some very weird errors where some lines are bold and some are not. I know this isn't font dependent because I tried changing the font to Times and it was still fried.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks oldnewbie for replying.

I figured out that I had to unembed the text and just go through and remove all the en dashes I had within it. why I have to do that, I don't know. I also had to delete a lot of sigma's which had cropped up somehow. Anyway, I met my deadline and I know not to use any advanced symbols. Which is too bad because eventually I'm going to need a diacritical now and again ....

Thanks anyway.
Josh.
