hi guys if i have MCs in the library and i m attaching them to the stage using
attachMovieClip do i need to preload them?
As i notice when i publish the file(with a script containing the attachMovie function) it's size will get bigger. so i though it won't need to be preloaded and if the hole movie is preloaded first then there no problem but i need to ensure that by asking you guys .

If Linkage is set in the Library, then yes they'll be preloaded with the movie itself... But they might prevent your preloader from displaying anything, until all of them have in fact downloaded even before your preloader's first frame...

attachMovie == no preloader need
loadMovie == preloader.
