Hello guys.

I've seen an identical thread with no response to the question so I decided to ask that same thing somebody else has, about 8 months ago.

I'm trying to export my fla file as a projector (with mac and PC versions). I haven't tried on a PC yet, but I somehow can not get rid of the border in mac projector file. The file adds an extra margin-kind-of-space to all of the sides, with the background color of the movie.

Any suggestions to get rid of this silly space?

you want to scale up your movie or not have your movie full screen?

either wya, check out fscommand - allowscale and fullscreen

None.
When the mac projector is launched, the file is added an extra space at the sides. I'm not talking about the space that occurs when the window size is manually adjusted. So it has nothing to do with allowscale or fullscreen fscommands.

Are you trying to publish a 'windowless' projector file? If so you will have to use a third-party tool such as Zinc (by MDM (http://www.multidmedia.com/)) or Jugglor (by FlashJester (http://www.flashjester.com/)).

It's not the window I'm trying to get rid of. It's the white border kind of space.

See the white space at the bottom and at the right in the projector (second) file. In the work area (the first picture) thus in the document I have no border.

And if you decide to scale the projector see what happens on the right and bottom - and not on the left and top at the third picture.

I'm using a cropped graphic at the bottom of my original document and have to get rid of that space for all the background of my real file is white and the cropped color thing becomes odd when there's a white space underneath.

is that the space for the scrollbars?

Might be. But since I don't have 'em, what now?
And the 2 softwares (a plugin and a software i suppose) suggested above seem to be quite expensive (~$300) for me. That's a portfolio issue :)

Wait this is for an HTML page. I'm using -only- the projector file.
One file does it all kind of thing.

oh

then it looks like you need one of the tools outlando mentioned

can you just make it fullscreen?

I don't want to "invade" the whole screen of the user unless (s)he wants. Frankly I don't care about the window borders etc but I simply want to get rid of that odd space.

I'm stuck.

By the way that space is there for the imaginary scrolls, you're right.

I downloaded the trial version of zinc. It eliminated the space I currently have porblems with, but the streaming feature of my fla disappeared with this new projector file.

Anyway it looks I'll have to make this thing fullscreen and insert a close button somewhere in the movie.

Further suggestions are still welcome.
