Advice on graphics

I have a movie with simple lines on it. These lines move across the screen at runtime. When it runs the line become distorted. Dont know what the problem is. Can anyone offer up some advice?

Could be any of about a hundred causes! First thing to try is change your movie's frame rate and see if it makes a difference. Second thing to do is define what you mean by "distorted". Third thing to try is to post the SWF or FLA here so others can see specifically what you're talking about.
