Overlaping scenes

This might be a dumb question but oh well. I have three scenes in my movie. a preloader, intro and the main movie. when i test the movie the intro plays but then it overlaps the main movie. I have sounds in both scenes so both background sounds are playing at the same time but only the intro is showing..does that make any sense?? does any one know what is going on? i can't seem to get my brain to function and understand the problem.

is the sound set to event or stream?

try putting a stop all sounds action the last frame of the intro

the sound in the intro is set to event and the sound in the mainpage is set to start. I just tried a stop all sounds action but it didn't work..at the the end of the intro...the intro loops again instead of going to the next scene which is the main scene but the sound from the main scene plays on top of the sound of the intro..weird but that's what it's doing...

only in movie clips embedded in the main movie..maybe i should redo the intro..sometimes flash acts up..it did it to me before and i just started over and it worked..unless you have a better solution

put a stop action in the first frame of the main scene timeline
