help! with script

im trying to make a MC (trasparent box) motion over my text on a button click and then go to my aboutus frame (i have made it but its just the code someone told me to do this

"when you click the button set a var and tell the clip to play

nextSection='aboutus'
some_mc.gotoAndPlay(2);

at the end of some_mc say

_root.gotoAndPlay(_root.nextSection)

which will send the main timeline to a frame label of aboutus

cheers"

but can anyone type this a bit clearer im a newbie to this... but i have some sence in it(so im a begginer) first of all what does the "some_mc" mean is this what ive named my MC ? i named it slider so would it be slider_mc
please help me im so close to finnishing it :) here is my fla file please help me!

Yes, some_mc is your movieclip.
'aboutus' would be the name of a frame within your _root. So you tell the _root to got to the frame named 'aboutus' whenever you reach the end of your 'some_mc'

Just play around with movieclips a bit, you'll get the hang of it. :)

I can't open your flash here @ work, because they use Flash MX 2004.. so your .fla is either Flash 8, or corrupted(use the right crack next time :D)
