Moving Spot Lights?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to make a movie with two spot lights in it both move from left to right crossing over as they do.
(Like what is used on the Hollywood sign, where the lights point up at it and move accross it)
Problem is mine is not looking very good at all! Any body know of a good tutorial, file or template for this, it would be a great help!! If you are not sure what I'm talking about let me know and I will try find an example for you.

I have found sort of what I need at this site to give you an idea http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/ if you look at the logo top left you can see the two lights moving accross logo (don't need the star on bottom though)

Just create a triangle with a white linear gradient that has the alpha go from translucent to transparent. Turn it into a graphic symbol. Then use a motion tween to move it.
