Ok,

I am designing a site for a painter frined of mine and in his gallery page, you click on a thumbnail of one of his paitntings and it it supposed to open a pop up browser with the same dimensions as the jpg as seen in this tutorial:

http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials/beginner/PopUp_window_within_flash/index.shtml

None of this sh*t is working and I want to kill everyone in my town and the whole world and punch myself to death. I been drinking wine all night so it has increased my fury a million-fold. Please help me!

Here it is so far: I have follwed the tut to a T and when I click on the thumbnail it makes a pop-up sound and then dissapears?!!

All
I want is so when you click on the thumnail, it opens the painting in a browser tailored to the jpgs size. In the example in my FLA it's 419 x 480.

Can anyone help?

You can download my FLA at: http://dynamic-effex.com/client/gallery.rar

Thank you,
M4R

What kind of wine? Just curious!

I'll have a look at your .fla. Want that poup to also be centered in the user's screen?

You are aware that with all the popup blockers around these days, this might not work for a lot of users anyways, right?

You should provide me with your bacon.html (or at least a link to it) and to that full size picture.

It might be your own popup-blocker that's killing the popup - check when you've not had so much to drink ;)

So, what's the problem?

Well, I need the browser to frame the jpg you know? Be a fixed size, the same size as the jpg.

So the jpg being 419 x 480, I need the browser to pop up 419 x 480; not full screen.

Sorry if I did not make myself clear the first time - thanks for your help too!

:D

Did you check my link above in post #4 and doesn't it work for you as you would want it to?
