A quick question - I am doing a small flashapp and I want it to be "fit for internet explorer 6".

What Flash Player should I publish for, so everybody using the internet explorer 6 can see it...?

Thanks :)

the lowest possible.

the lowest possible.

Ill elaborate for you :p

As low as you can go without 'cutting off' the features you need. For example publishing to FP6 wont allow AS2 to work  which is bad if its all AS2 obviously.

To check what you would lose, go file, save as 'Flash MX document'. A warning will popup telling you all the things that wont work if saved as FMX format (same as if published to FP6).

So, if your not going to lose anything needed FP6, else FP7

;) Exactly.

I wish more people would DL FP8, its annoying, I want to use F8 to its full potential but seems not enough people will be able to view the content :(

Well that settles it. It's all AS2, and I'm using both the MCL and getNextHighestDepth, witch (found out last night) only works with FP7...

And yes god dammit' DL FP8, so we can go FlashCrazy :D :D :D
