the site launched almost a month ago, and i'm finally getting around to posting it for everyone's thoughts.
i started working for this company in september and worked on upates and touch-ups until this project, the first one i got to work on from start to finish. mazda is the client we do the most work for. they contacted us saying they were going to launch a promotion for their mazda5 vans, teaming up with quiksilver the surf company. they gave us some pictures and said "make something that looks cool"
i worked with one other person on the microsite. he did most of the design and idea work, and it was my duty to get it all to function. january 5th, macromedia gave us a SoD award. our company's christmas party was delayed until last week, but it was worth it because the president of our company flew in from the nyc headquarters and gave me my christmas bonus check, then doubled it with another check for getting the award!

the first impression isn't all that great, the initial loading screen didn't get fully tested. the rest of the site should be alright, though.
don't check it out if you have a really slow internet connection. there are almost 30 PNGs for the main menu, after the intro video. each close-up is about 10 PNGs
