I have a preloader that looks perfect when I click the control/play button. However, when I click control/ Test movie, it seems to jump to the last frame and my masking disappears.
Any ideas are welcome!!
I'm attaching a screen shot of the fla file.
Thanks in advance
David
On that screen shot it looks like the mask isn't on the last frame.
Have you thought of tweening the mark so you don't have to use so many key frames.:D

Can you please give me detailed notes on how to do that. I've been working at this all day and dont want to mess anything else up..
Thanks
David:eek:
If you put the .fla up I'll fix it for you in 2 minutes:) .
If you want to fix it yourself.
To fix it:
Go to the last frame (frame 15) select the mask layer and push F6.
Here is a tutorial on tweening http://www.echoecho.com/flashtweenings.htm

Can you tell me if you have time, what you did.. a few bullet points would be wonderful.
Thank you so much
I had but I accidently pushed F5 and refreshed the page.
Have a keyframe (the one with circles in them) at both ends (push f6 at frame 60, the button for the normal frames is f5).
Select the shape, in the properties box select the colour drop down box and select alpha, set it to 100% in the first frame and 0% in frame 60.
Select the first frame and set it to motion tween.
You should always set your frame rate to 24 or above to make things in flash look good.:)
