I've got a movie set up that has six buttons on the right. Upon rolling over one of the buttons, it tells a loaded movie clip to go to the frame that contains the correct movieclip with a panning and/or zooming JPEG.
These zooming JPEGs do the distorting, pixel-wave dance with the "allow smoothing" turned off, but with it turned on they look fabulous.
PROBLEM
I got the first one working, added the next one and tested it....and it did the dance like the smoothing was off, but it WAS ON. I tried the third image and it did the same thing...acting like the smoothing was turned off.
I discovered I can copy the frame in the movieclip that contains the jpeg zoom (includes all the related symbols from the library) and paste it into a new movie and it works like a champ. smooth as ever.
any ideas?
