Hi all,
There are a lot of schools of thought on the issue of using Screens (MX2004+) and the timeline. I have been reading through them and I was hoping maybe some of you could weigh in on the subject.
Specifically,
Is there a time when a Forms based screen document would actually be preferred over a timeline based one? Meaning is it all personal preference or are there actual technical reasons why one should choose one method over the other?
EDIT: In fact, with the advent of the new MovieClipLoader component, it almost seems like an arbitrary choice.
I have been deep in Moock's OOP theory for the last year and have essentially decided that Flash (and Flex 2 when it arrives) is going to be my strength as I move forward. So, I really want to get a handle on all aspects of the tool and language.
Any advice would be appreciated.
