i would like your site more if you give the currenct selected section more of a highlight than just resorting their depth, maybe when i select work, fading out the butttons that don't pertain to 'work' and that will make your four buttons stand out more. give your users more info about what you did for each project; an idea is adding a tooltip saying 'html & css', 'design and html development', 'all productions; html, mySQL, php, flash'. this could help you highlight your skills more.

like the background, and the layout (even i would never use background and its not my style of layout) what i didnt enjoy that much were the pop ups, i would say you let all the content inside your movie...
