and another efffect: there are a few picture to choose, when one is pointed - others rapidly slide away.
How can I achieve similar effect?

its a nice one...though...AS masking and some basic Flash will do it i think...

If you are thinking about the photos, photoshop + some experience will give you that edge. Although barely noticeable you can see the photos have been edited (simple techniques such as blurring background to make main object stand out)

yeah thats a very nice site,
another key thing to do it make everything quick so people dont loose interest. also it makes animation look better because you can't see tiny mistakes in between the movement
