NEW FLASH USER - need some basic set-up help for interactive site design...

Hi there, I really could do with some help on how to set up a nice interactive site, full stop! I need to know the best way to organise movie clips, buttons, scrolling text, picture menus, layers, the whole shebang really.

This site is great but I need to know the way a site is planned from scratch. Can anyone piont me in the right direction?
