I have an idea - but I'm not sure if it could be done in Flash 8.
Is it possible to create a swf file that imports a live video feed (720px by 576) as the underlying layer - then using a sort of 'remote panel' call in data ( songs, announcements, text, scripture verse ) from a database - into a dynamic text box in the lower third of screen ( possibly also having preset animated background panels that fade in before text is called ) with the ability to use the text effects ( drop shadow etc ) to make a customizable live video titling system - that then in turn could be outputted via video card s-video cable etc to capture live video with instant titles/animations overlaid?
Could it be done? Are there any obvious difficulties?
If not, could anyone direct me as to any info/tutorials as to how you would build this?
It would be great to put to use flash 8's new graphic effects in this way
