New to flash

Hello there, i am a Graphic Design student and currently on the assignment of Website Design.

We were not provided with Flash, however, if we wanted to use it, we were allowed to do so.

So ive picked myself up a copy of Flash, a total new comer and im alittle stuck.

Basically, i have learned the bare-bones basics, i know how to tween and create transitions with text etc..

However now ive hit a real roadblock. Baiscally, i want to have my simple text buttons activate when there is a mouse over, not a click. I would like the mouse to roll over a text button, and then, in a certain area of my movie, a block of text fades in.

Here is the logic of my idea.

Button 1-->Mouseover--->Fade in Text 1--->Mouseroll out of button 1--->Text 1 fades out.


If anyone could help me i really would appreciate it, im dedicated to learn flash.

As much as you want to learn flash you should learn how to use the forum. Search man! Plenty of threads with your question. In fact you don't need to search here, just go on home page of AS.org and take a look at some tutorial. And other sites are out there to!
