Database with flash?????!!!!!!

:( Hey guys, I hope you are able to help me in this .
Actually I'm making a flash cd and this flash application contains database from MS access the problem is that I dont know how to load or save variables from flash to access and when I looked up in google all the tutroials seemed to be for webs..while I want it for local use?????????:confused: :confused:

you might have to write another program that can modify the database. because on the web people have server-side languages they can use. I'm pretty sure that flash doesn't have file access or anything, so you need to have another program modify it.

I've been studying c++ for 4 months so is there any preffered language??

Flash can use a database with help of PHP, ASP, etc....

In this situation you could use C++ or VB....then, using FSCommand I think you can pass data back and forth...I know C# and remoting, I believe, will offer more inhanced features..

It's usual to use xml for local databases with flash afaik, but you might want to check this out: http://www.inm.com/products/v12flash/

you have a couple of options.

1. Build an appliation in C#/VB/C++ that embeds the flash control and loads your swf. From here, send FSCommands back and forth.

2. Use Zinc. www.multidmedia.com. Chcek it out, its a great program.
