HELP!!!
Im reading an external text file using flash. This text file is created using php and is updated constantly. It contains refering pages to my website and have numerous &'s in it. I know that there is a way to replace ampersands with %26 in the text document BUT this does not fix my problem as I would have to constantly download my text document and sub %26 for the &'s.
Is there a way using actionscript that I can have flash simply ignore the ampersands?
Thanks

If it is, wouldn't you then need to constantly download your text file anyways?

Sorry i dont understand - but heres why i dont wish to go through the text file manually and remove the ampersands - theres over 5000 lines. Probably hundreds of &'s.

Heres my website - www.turrican3d.com
It was my hope that I could give people a look at the stats for the site by having the flash website read the txt file that is generated by the php. However, if you click on the webstats link it only goes up to feb 15th for my stats. The position of the first ampersand!

Publishing IP's... Wouldn't that be infringing upon users' privacy?
