High performance coding with CFMX

Application performance depends on many factors -- database performance, hardware specification, network and infrastructure quality. But to get the very best performance out of your application, you need to streamline your code. This topic will review key areas where performance can fail, show you some quick tricks to evaluate performance, and illustrate some important concepts in code performance in ColdFusion MX compared to previous versions of CF.

Topic Focused Audience: Any CF developer.


Open Floor Q&A

The Open Floor Q&A will allow anyone with ColdFusion, Spectra, Fusebox, Macromedia or even web type questions to take the floor and pose a question to the whole group for help.

The chairman of the Q&A will select one person out of those that say they can answer the question to start the discussion off, with other people making suggestions or enhancements as the person progresses with their explanation.

As an incentive for asking/answering questions, we will be giving mugs to the first five people to ask a question and the first 5 people to answer a question.

As usual we will have a giveaway during the course of the evening where you will have a chance to win some Macromedia and UKCFUG bits'n'bobs.
