duplicated movies are loosing button behaviour

hi,

when i duplicate a movie several times, the duplicated instances do not have the main movies button behaviour

I do move the duplicated movies by ActionScript... and need the button behaviour while they are moved

isn't that possible?

can you please tell me what it is about this duplicateMovieClip...

When you duplicate a movie, the code on the outside of it is not carried forward to the duplicate. You need to put the code inside it, either on the frame or on a button inside the movie.

i was loading images dynamically, but as they are loaded on top a button placed in the movie is overwritten, but - it workes like this:

one blank movie 'movJpg' for the jpg's within a movie with a button 'movBut'

now you can duplicate movBut movie as often as you like, and load lots of pictures it it's 'movJpg'...

you can animate and everything, and they behave still as buttons!

i like actionscripting!
