Hello everyone,
I'm relatively nw to Flash (couple of months of hands on experience) and I have developed this experimental site http://www.delteca.com in which I use video clips taken from various video tapes.
My question is: Is there a way to optimize the videos (I did the editing using Adobe Premiere)so that they can be kept atthe minimum size possible?
I did try some staff but as soon as I import them into Flash they are being understood as bitmaps and not as vector graphics which makes their size big.
Now, I saw in this site some movies in the section Video in Flash, which are great, How did the authors did those great films and they are still so small in size?

Any helpful tips would greatly welcome.

Thanks for your time

One of the way to minimize the file size you you convert video into 2 colors. You can use Aftereffects for that.. You need to play with Contrast and Brightness to get the needed results.
after export the video as a sequance of pics into Flash.. In Flash you need to use function "Trace Bitmaps" to convert the bitmap image into Vector, frame by frame. after that you can optimize the vectorized images by using "Optimization" feature.. I hope this helps.
