[AS2] help scripting for a game

(its a web based game and the login-password is made with PHP)
I am currently doing a game with a crew, and i am currently doing the character select menu, but i dont know how to save the apperance the player chose through-out the whole game once you click on choose, can anyone post in the script? oh and i got more questions please

the way i'll do it is by placing all characters in a movieclip. each character sits on a particular frame. and when a user selects an appearance, it will just gotoAndStop(chosenCharacter).

hope this helps you come up with a better solution.

Hmm yeah thats not bad! But will it save through-out the whole game? Yeah... it might work, but i think ill have to seperate them all on different movie clips then
cuz i need to make them walking attack... and all that so thx alot! if anyone got anymore ideas please post them in! Thanks alot uten!
