Question Do Thumbnails need levels?

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to animate my thumbnails within my Flash site (no external .swf's).. I convert each .jpg to a movie symbol and within that symbol, create a motion tween and also converts into a grafic which will expand it's size.. The problem is that I have converted all of my thumbnails and each one is on top of each other.. Is there some sort of hierarchy for .jpg's or movie symbols?? How can I avoid this? I want to just create a simple motion where the user clicks on my thumbnails and it will create a little motion towards the center and expand.. They click on it again and it disappears.. That's all!

You can view the layout of my thumbnails at: www.aldenphotography.com

Thanks!
