Default Which way gives the best sound quality?

What method plays a music file with the best quality while keeping a reasonable filesize at the same time?

Streaming? Wav? Mp3? Puting it in an MC or using it from an external source?

it depends on the bit rate of the audio file and if you import it it depends on what your publishing setting are for the fla.

The best quality is a .mp3 at 160kbps (Flash's maximum...), and the file's size is dependent on the acceptable quality for you... Lower the bit rate till it's no longer acceptable for you.
