Default Dynamicaly changing ContentPath of FLVplayback componet

Hey guys:

Well it sounds like this would be simple, but I can't find any answers to this problem. I simply what to have the FLVplayback component play the video from a Dynamic playlist.

I am pretty much wanting to have a screen with like 24 small icons that when clicked play in the FLVplayback componet. I know what you are thinking, I can just use AS to to play the video in a video holder (which it currentley does), but having to script video controls into that is just so much more work, hense the ease of just haveing the FLVplayback do it for me.

Any ideas? let me know guys. Thanks

Steve

There are a lot of custom FLV players on the market these days, and most of them will allow you to play FLV's from a dynamic XML playlist, and some have the ability to display thumbnails for each of your videos. The best ones are fully and easily customizable. Otherwise, you will have to build your own custom player to meet your needs. You can visit our site for examples:

Default ahh, yes but not quite

Ok:

Well, the list box and the accordian Dynamic playlist are all options that I have tried, but just's don't suite me. I can do all these no problem. Right now my whole video interface is all custome.

For instance I tried using the XML connector, and got it to bind the data too the FLVplayback component, but I just couldent pull any results from it.

Well I assume no one has done this then? I figured it would be easy to assaign a play command from a button that reads a dynamic XML file.

Err, I know this can be done. Back to the book, forums, and code snipits.
thanks for any help you can provide gusy.
