Reload app (refresh)

to release memory I want to refresh my application every 1 hour from beginning in the same window like in IE refresh button works

Can I do it form AS in Air?

That doesn't make sense. If you reload your app then you'll use twice as much memory.

if Air is browser or window for swf files I should be able to reload swf into NativeWindow dumping all the memory ???

The used memory will be dump eventually sure but what's the goal then? You want to reload the app so the used memory is dump (eventually) and the same amount of new memory is allocated again? What is the purpose of that?

Application loading new content every 1 min and on interaction.
and it's slowdown after a while.
I want to save last state in SharedObject and reload application

So it's more about dealing with the fact that your app is leaking memory. Another solution would be to make it work properly in the first place. There are many developers who just load the same image/swf/content all the time which would produce memory leaks eventually if it's over used. That's probably what happens to you isn't it?.

When nobody use my application it loads advertisement created by designers. Some of them use timeline some of them AS2/AS3

I think I know what to do:
I want to create separate application for advertisement only and play it in opaque window on top of Main.

with click I will exit advertisement application leave on screen Main only.

I think two separate air application don't share memory?

The only problem I need to register user click on advertisement, probably I will do it over LocalConnection
