Default Pressing Ctrl+s returns "!!" in the TextField?

Please tell me if I have posted this question in a wrong area. I ain't sure if this is an AIR question.

My question is:

I have opened an AIR project in Flash CS5.5.
I have created a TextField.
When I got the TextField focused, I pressed Ctrl + S.
The TextField returned the characters "!!" (without quotes).

How could I stop these characters from appearing as
I want to use Ctrl + S as a keyboard shortcut to do something else?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen this behavior in my own applications. But you could catch the ctrl s event and write a line of code to remove the appended exclamation marks.
