Default Multithreading in FP 11.4

I know the FP 11.4 beta has been out for a couple weeks now, but I was wondering if anyone had messed around with it. Specifically, I'm curious to know what some of you think of the multithreading.

I took a look at the examples when the beta was first released and it looked like a pretty messy API. Lee Brimelow recently posted a couple new tutorials on how to use background workers and after going through them, I really don't think the support for them is very well implemented. I have some misgivings about multithreading in the first place and this API certainly isn't helping the case.

Just my initial thoughts on it, but if they must bring workers to ActionScript I hope the implementation is cleaned up for AS4.
