Question [AS2] help scripting for a game

(its a web based game and the login-password is made with PHP)
I am currently doing a game with a crew, and i am currently doing the character select menu, but i dont know how to save the apperance the player chose through-out the whole game once you click on choose, can anyone post in the script? oh and i got more questions please
