dir or path - video files for projector

We use FMprojector 1.51, mostly for video/flash CD production. I have had difficulty with "paths" in some of the FScommands. I would like to place the video clips in a sub-directory on the disc. I have been unable to "find" the video when placed in a sub-directory. So far, my solution has been to place the video clips on the "root". I am now working on a project with 40 or more clips. Placing that many clips on the root would seem "unprofessional" to me. Any help would be appreciated.
