Flex Help needed

Hi all,


Im in need of some flex help.

I went to this site (http://axel.cfwebtools.com/index.cfm...xml-mp3-player) and downloaded the the sourcefile for the mp3 player.

Can anyone tell me how I go about compiling the small version of the mp3 player ?


I had downloaded the already compiled version of the MP3 player from the site but found that when I imbed the swf it has a default music already in it.

What im trying to do is imbed the small version of the player in swf format into my site and have it play my own files

I already have Adobe flex builder on my PC

It looks like you can set the playlist with XML. Did you try that first?

You can play it with XML file using a HTML page that takes the player and music to play.

But if you click on the SWF file you get the player poping up but playing an already defined music. What Id like to do is change the music file specified in the SWF file so that I can inbedd the SWF file directly into my site and playing my own specified music.

If you do not specify a playlist, it will use the default. Open up the class file for vo.MP3Player and change the static const lines at the top to change default settings. Then recompile.
