Default Pass variable to Window instance

My standalone Flash program (ie not used in browser) launches a window, using PopUpManager.createPopUp, and it gets some info from the database and displays it - no problem. Now I want to pass a variable to that popup but I can't see how to do that?

This is a very big undertaking to do a website like that. I'm just saying that if you want to make something like this, work your way up. Start with simple websites and add functionality afterwards. This is not a 5 hour website.

chriculcon, were you responding to my problem? I'm not seeing the connection. This is not a website, it's a standalone application consisting of a series of Flash documents.

Problem solved! I had originally tried to communicate to the popup via the LocalConnection facility, which I use extensively in the application, but I couldn't get it to work and assumed it wasn't meant to work with popups. I re-examined my testing and found a flaw. It now works and serves as the means of communicating with the popup.
