I have multiple scenes. In each scene I load lot of movie clips. I move from one scene to another scene and may come back to the already visited scene.
1. From one scene if I move to some other scene will it flush or unload the scene with the movie clips or they will be still floating in the memory? If it is going to be in the memory with the loaded movies how can I unload them when I move from Scene to Scene? 2. Can I reuse a loaded movie in one scene, in another scene? Basically can I share the same loaded movie in multiple scenes? Thanks in advance. |

Yes all of them are SWF files (Captivate generated)...
The files are local. Thanks, |

You mean this is only played locally and not online?
What's your problem with them being in memory or in the Internet cache?

The Adobe Captivate generated SWF files..when they are loaded the CPU usage goes to 50% and the memory usage for the flash player goes beyond 300MB and it actually slows down the process and the computer...I would like to know a clean way of doing this...
I am new to flash and have no idea what is kept in memory when I switch from one scene to another... thanks. |

Does flash unload the previous scene and all the movies loaded in that scene when I move to next scene?

That is a memory hog. If it doesn't unload the contents of one scene when I move to another scene, is there a way to use the movies loaded there in another scene?
Thanks. |
