[AS2] Syntax error with trying to reference scrollbar

Trying to reference a scrollbar component used within a movieclip so that xml text scrolls. The text loads fine but the scrollbar doesn't work.

I'm in AS2 using this:

UIScrollBar:_root.content.content.field.scrollBar;

scrollBar is scrollbar instance name
field is the dynamic text field
content is mc within content
