Default Source Code License

Hi,

I have a client who wants to purchase the source code for a site I've designed. Normally I don't supply source code when designing sites so I am after a rough idea of how much extra I should charge them. Additionally they have asked for a license to resell or distribute the source code to other designers (like a template etc).

For example a simple license to use the site in the form of SWF's may be $100 - a license for the same site but with the source code supplied in order to edit for their own domain may be $300 (ie 300%) and finally a license or right for them to own the source code outright in order to sell and redistribute both object code and source code may be $1000 (ie 1000%).

Any guides on what I should be charging would be very helpful.

Wow, how do you get away with not supplying clients dev files?

I can understand not providing a license to re-destribute your code, but not providing the source code at all?
