Exclamation Flash on a tablet

We are looking at putting a flash game onto a tablet and I am looking for some advice as to what is possible and which tablet would be best.

1) Best case scenario would be to be able to copy an html file, a javascript file and a swf file onto a tablet and run the html file (which has the javascript and swf file used within it). Is this possible with any of the tablets? Perhaps the Samsung or the Blackberry?

2) Alternately if that is not possible we would just load a swf directly onto the tablet and run it. Is this possible with any of the tablets?

Keep in mind the tablet is going to be used offline most of the time and the files need to be loaded directly onto the tablet.

Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Adobe AIR is what you want.

If I understand Adobe Air correctly, it has to be programmed in AS3, I have an existing AS2 file I was hoping i could just run from the tablet.

Oh, I'm not sure what's possible with AS2, you may be able to embed that swf in an AIR file somehow. If it's possible to embed a AS2 swf inside a AS3 parent and have it run, then yes you could do so with an AIR file.
I do think Blackberrys and Droids support basic swfs in html, but I've never done it and am not sure.

Do you know if you can just run a basic SWF without it being embedded in an html file?

I did some searching for you.... no you can't, here are some links for you

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/...p/td-p/1549889

http://blackberry.github.com/WebWork...ashplayer.html

For Blackberry it looks like you can use a swf from html, but not a local one, it has to be loaded from a server.

The last link seems to be about doing it locally, using WebWorks.

Interesting... sounds like this is going to be much more complicated then just putting the swf onto the machine and running it.

I suppose loading a projector (exe or app) wont work either. WebWorks may be my best bet.
