Default Question about Rates for Projects

I'm a college student building a website for a sorority on our campus. This is my first time contracting out to build a website and I have no idea what-so-ever what to charge them. Could anyone please give an idea as to what the "going rate" for flash design is so that I can have something to base my fee on?

Thanks

Firstly what country are you in? Differring dollar (you are using dollars?)values can make a big difference!!

Pehaps try and find out what other services are charging - design work, illustration work - Ring a few companies too and ask what their rate is - you may want to scale it up or down depending on your confidence and experience!

good luck!
