How to create a screendump?

Hi there!

I want to create a small application (or projector?) that starts with creating a screendump of the actual users dektop, and from there do things with it.

But (novice as I am in Flash ;-) I have now idea where to start.

I figure I need to use the [printscreen] button-function, then the clipboard function and 'generate' a picture from there.

But how ????
Anybody with experience in such a thing?

This isn't possible in Flash. You can get third party software which turns a BMP of JPG into an SWF which you could load but it's expensive and your end users would each have to have a copy.

Now I have to search for another sollution.
