Thought I'd show off a cool-looking warp sequence I programmed, which will soon become part of a movie I'm working on.
http://bernard.asen.us/files/Stellarsis%20II_warp.swf Wait for it to load, then click the play button on the lower left corner of the screen. Warning: May slow down your computer. Tell me if you get one of those "A script is slowing down your computer" messages. Oh, the things I could have done if I knew everybody in the world had a super-fast quantum computer from the year 3000! |

It used 50% of one of my 3.4ghz processors (hooray for using work computers for non-work). Just thought I would let you know how much it took.
