combo box problem

i'm new to using components can someone help me out and tell me what i am doing wrong. The items i'm adding to the combo box don't show up when i open the box, it's intended for a music player.

k. so on the combobox movie clip named combp i put this:

onClipEvent(load)
{
combo.addItem("94 Hours", "As I Lay Dying - 94 Hours - Frail Words Collapse");
//and a lot of others that were exactly the same
}
