Question Playing sound in mobile flash player

Hi all,

I am doing some small testing with the Flash Lite 1.1 (MX 2004). I have managed to get the movie to correspond to my keypad but now I would like to play some sound.
I imported some mp3 files and now when I try to test the movie it says that:
"MP3 sounds not supported for the selected content type on this device."

There is a mp3 player in the hand set (Nokia 6125). Does anyone have any ideas what format I should use for sound, and how can I convert the wav/mp3 files into that?

Thanks

Hi Flashchick ,

perhaps this fits to your needs :
the tutorial says that it is necessary that you compile as 2.0 this might be the reason !?

Thanks for the reply.
The handset I have, Nokia 6125 only has flash Lite 1.1 player so I don't think this would help. I would be able to view it in the emulator, with another handset but not actually on my mobile.

I found out that the handset supports midi files (not mp3s) in the flash player but I am not able to import them into the library for some reason. Any ideas on that?

Thanks
