Hi,
just finished converting a file from swf to exe with norhtcode swf studio and after the encoding it wont play back any flv files....it wont even display the media componet on screen..... While still in swf form everythig plays smooth. Is it truly something wrong with the converter or not, and if yes, does anyone know a better way to make my swf files exe? Thans in advance J |

It sounds like a path issue. Make sure that you are giving complete paths to your external files. you can set the content path and skin path using actionscript.

There's only one situation with SWF Studio I know of where FLV files won't load properly and that's if you've enabled the secure loader and then you try to load a local FLV file. I believe we correctly handle all other cases in the latest development build. If you're a registered SWF Studio V3 user, the best thing to do is fire off a quick email to support@northcode.com with your serial number and ask for a copy of the latest dev build with all the latest, greatest fixes.
