Default http://fpdownload. for Player 9?!

This is odd -
I have published my site for flash player 8 - it's working great with my version of explorer & safari,
but when I have published the site's html the java string which downloads the latest version of flash player for those with old versions (my friend with her explorer) it doesn't know where to go -

iThe html reads: "http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0"

What is the string of code that retreives flash player 9?
