Var.: Alpha Numeric Expression?

Hello,
I’m in a real pickle. I need to set “myvar” to the alpha numeric expression: “00N30000000tM2x”. Any help would be more than awesome!

00N30000000tM2x =mycombo.selectedItem.label;

myvar=mycombo.selectedItem.label;

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately this is still not working . I was trying to pass the selected item from a comboBox to a dynamic text field which had the assigned variable of “00N30000000tM2x” so that the selected item gets sent to me in a e-mail.


Flash doesn’t play nice with dropdown menus and forms? Yes/No?

don't use variables for the values of a textField. Use its "text" property:

myTextfield.text = mycombo.selectedItem.label;
